Those were made out of 3/8" Corian, that was my last piece , now I am using 1/4" for every thing.

Can you share how you've been cutting this and also any tricks for painting.
Thanks

When I need a ptn for a set of coasters I get 2 types, 1 is the ptn and the second is a vector file.
I take the ptn and trace the lines I thinks will give me a good picture. That way I can set the depth I want
for the 1/4" coasters. I use a 1/16", 1/32" depth. I then paint the lines to match the colors I need.T
he Phillies baseball coasters was traced for a file picture I imported in to trace.
The Eagle was trace right off the ptn, since the vector file was too busy for a 60 deg. V bit. I had to remove some of the lines
myself.
You really can't use a carved ptn on a coaster, it could leave a unsmooth surface and you don't know what they are going to place
on the coaster.
see the attached
I hope this helps

Perry,
Do you paint the lines then sand off excess or do you just paint within the lines. Also are you just cutting this with a table saw and do you use any special blade?

I paint the lines most of the time, if I have to paint inside the lines, I sand off the excess of the lines, then paint between
the lines and spray a high gloss sealer for looks.
I cut the 4 coasters with my table saw with a thin blade. It cuts the coaster material very easly.
I use a 8" x 8" piece in my sled and let her rip.

Perry;
You could use a font and carve them with centerline, that would be a vector carving.
