Just picked up my second carvewright...
first one had cronic problems-

this one fresh out of the box - and i'm getting a memory card error...

is it user error?

you can try to format the flash card, and make sure you have the latest firmware installed. Somtimes flash meda needs a kick start.

Yes, reformatted several times and updated software...

spoke to my local Sears today and they were going to try to
get me sent another Media card...

has anyone tried a generic PCMCIA memory card in their machine?

That's all wrong... first you have to cuss at him!
