I have 1 shot at this picture in wood, the people gave me the Spanish cedar and I am not sure
the settings are the best to make the picture stand out. Maybe I'm wrong.
Any help on the settings would be great,
Perry B.

There does not seem to be much detail in his face, you may need to play with depth adjustments?

And you can have more than one shot - test carve on another piece of wood, even if it is a 2" wide strip in the center of his face, masking off both sides with 0 depth carve regions just to see how well it stands out.

you are correct, the picture is pretty soft, I played with the height quite a bit too.
henry1, I could not open your version (the 2.0 problem raised it's head again) do you have 187 ?
