I'm having a hard time finding round cribbage board patterns, that also have the race ways boxed in, in groups of 5.

If I attempt to create my own pattern, what do you cribbage pattern makers feel is the best bit to use for all those lines....both the cirlces, and the lines seperating the groupings? 90 V-bit at .05 depth? 1/16" ballnose?

The V-bits - 60° or 90° are always better for lines IMO. As far as depth, I normally care about the width more, but sometimes that is hard to visualize. The 90° bit always carves twice as wide as it does deep and the 60° bit carves just a bit wider than it's depth (1.155 times.) I carved a scrap board a while back with sample lines with both V bits at varying depths so it'd help me decide when designing. Excepting wider lines, I prefer the 60° bit.

.05 sounds like a good starting point IMO.
