How do I use centerline text to carve vertically? I want to carve a word or two on a board that measures 2 5/8" wide by 32" long, like so:
C
A
R
V
E
W
R
I
G
H
T

Duh. So easy. LOL. I always try it the hardest way first. Many thanks, Henry.

When you type vertically like that, is there a way to decrease the amount of space between each letter?

You could do each letter individually and then push them close to each other?

Or is there a specific font that lends itself to a vertical sign like this, with less space between each line?

It is easy with Designer 2. Do you have it? With 2.0 you can change the spacing between letters.

I solved the problem by using a font called Xipital. Didn't have to make any line-spacing adjustments.
