Carve a wave

How would I carve a wave? I want to make a jewelry box with sides that are curved. Do I need additional software to do this? I've done it before with hand planes but it takes forever. Thanks.

Have you tried tools - select surface - domes - vertical dome? Make it deeper and increase the height and it may be what you need. Basic Designer stuff.
