Here's a couple photos of a medicine cabinet I just finished for my son. I carved the bears in red oak and was surprised just how nice they came out. I was worried about chipping/tearout but had none.

You did a great job on the cabinet doors. Must have taken quite awhile of carve to remove all that background wood.

Great job, was the pattern made then cut out for onlay on the door?

Thanks everyone for your kind words. I'm really enjoying this C-model after all the problems I had with my A-model. The carve took about 6 hours each, I wanted to take my time with the red oak, but it's only about 3/8 inch deep. I thought about an onlay but decided to go for a full panel carve instead. The panels were carved then inset in a rail/stile frame.

Nice job. I told my wife a long time ago that I would build one for our main bathroom but, haven't done it yet. If she sees this one...

Looks good. I wondered how oak would carve using an intricate pattern.
