That looks pretty darn good to me, Ron, although for me, I'd have the river below it's borders, not higher. But that's just a "picky" item that I would do, and certainly not necessary.

I would say about a 70% chance of it coming out right. The raised letters are about 1/4" thick, so they are getting into a safer range. And there are some small raised areas in the trees that may be a concern. Nothing you can do but try on scrap wood (clear pine).

If its acceptable to you, I would carve it inverted. This will recess the lettering and eliminate the border so you don't need to change the river.
