I ran across this clock on YouTube and started imagining how I would build one out of wood. Maybe a carved mermaid for the float? Steampunk? Lots of possibilities.
The builder uses a needle valve to regulate the clock, but I'm thinking that my pendulum electronics could be reprogrammed to regulate the speed and therefore flow of a small 12V pump to maintain timekeeping. I figure clocks, even conversation pieces, should be accurate.
