I'm not sure if Ron still sells these, but it does a really nice job.
I made a gift tag that will be part of a box I'm making.

This 1/8" bit use to have a 1/16" cutting bit on the other end,
dropped it while trying to get it out of the old QC adapter.

I have attached the mpc of the label if anyone is interested.
Some filing is needed on the cack to add realism and allow
room for a string to be put through the hole.

I broke the first one and made another one, after gluing I finished both
so that I had a choice after filling with paint (copper and silver).

Note: The 1/4" material needs to be turned about 15 degrees when carving
so that the grain is in line with the text. Could not figure out how to make
a pattern that included the cut-out.

Excellent use of the bit ken. What bit did you tell the machine your loading?

The bit was made by Ron Justice who also created the Rock Chuck. (rj@cw-parts.com)
It is a 60 degree 1/8" shank bit, you would have to contact him to order one.

I just told the machine it was a 60 degree bit, regular, not bold on the script. The "To" and "From" were bold.
It really creates a fine line - centerline with conforming vector.

Wish I hadn't dropped it!

I have one of those, the funny thing is I got it to mark center points for holes. Never thought about fine text.

Wouldn't a normal 60 degree bit work just as well if it has a sharp point?
