Grest stuff! I really like the plaque showing all the different animals & different depths & flips & merges & stuff. Do you mind sharing tge process on how it was done? Very cool & unique idea!

I was going to make the same remarks as JerryB about how you did the animal plaque. I don't believe I've seen anything quite like it post before... it certainly grabs your attention when you look at it. Also like the way you mounted the animal skull.

WoW Sharon... After I posted I thought that I should have asked about the Skull mount too! I keep looking at it & trying to study the horns on it. I think I need a different angle. Ha ha . It does have nice detail in that plaque as well.

These carvings were done by using paper art and converting to depthmapped images, some editing was done in carvewright

Quite a collection you've carved and painted. Thanks for sharing your work and I echo all the compliments above. The collection of animals impressed me too. I particularly like your LOVE BRINGS YOU HOME composition. Nice work!

rmock, a fantastic job on the depth mapping as well as all the other carves. Your painting skills are enviable also. If you don't mind, what method/program did you use for the depth map conversions?

rmock, is that red bird in the cabin carving a separate piece that's elevated? I think I see a shadow and like the effect. the 4th dimension.

np the bird is part of the pattern just raised to appear closer in the picture. Here is the unpainted carving

We do most pattern designs ourselves, my wife does most of the designing, it probably has about 8 hours of time into just the cabin.

Really enjoy both your carvings and the finishes. Everytime I see something of this caliber two things happen, first I want to make something similar, second, reality sets in and I go make something, just within my range of experience. Thanks for sharing, great to see pieces looking that good.

Maybe it would be best for me to quit coming to the forum and seeing the great work that all produce. I am jealous. Right now I can't even find the time to get into Designer. Great work all!
