How do you get a cable that is stuck in the motor out?

You have to be more specific we need more information in order to help you. We can't visually see your problem.

If it is the Cable Core you might need to pull the whole cut motor out and open it up and use a small amount of heat on the shaft to expand it slightly. But with the motor open you might be able to grab the core with pliers GENTLY and use a screwdriver to pry between the pliers and the end of the shaft... OR spray a very small amount of Liquid Wrench of any solvent type spray being VERY careful to not get it all over as with the sawdust it could be a fire hazard later.

Careful on the motor plastic housing... The Shaft end can crack.

Good Luck,

AL

Thanks for the info, I figured that was what I was going to have to do. Have been hoping it would work its way loose, for now I am pulling the housing off to oil the cable. Hope they come up with a better design.

Did you loosen the screw where the cable enters the motor and just twist the cable sheathing a little? It should come right out.
