One of my other hobbies is a treasure hunt called Geocaching and for the past few years there has been a local yankee swap event and under suggestion from my wife this will be my gift to give this coming Sunday. All 5 sides are carved/cut with the CW (sans box joints). I also added two pieces of half-round inside the bottom of the cover to hold the box of tissues securely in place (I dislike tissue box covers that leave the tissue box behind when you lift it up to move it).
Made from oak and finished with golden oak stain and satin lacquer.

Very cool! I like box joints too (see my care bear project posted), very strong and look good... long as the jig is set up right. Great execution!

Very nice, the box joints really add to the design.

Great project brdad! As a Professional Surveyor by trade, We have been using gps since 1987 and the geocaching has been a great way to discover about any part of the country. Our units are a little bigger and cost a few bucks more, but the handhelds make this a lot of fun....
