Cut Motor Doesn't work

Hi,
I tried running a project today, everything appeared to be working until it said “carving pattern” and the cut motor never started, the head was functioning like it was carving but the motor never started. I have tested the cover switches RPM sensor and checked all wire connections, they are all secure. While doing the cut motor test in the menu it stated that the motor was running and it was not… does this mean I’m in need of a new X-Termination Electronics Board or something else? When spinning the flexshaft by hand it appears to engage the motor

How many hours on the motor? Brushes become a problem around 250 hours.

I had the same symptoms with the carving head functioning but the cut motor not starting....it turned out that there are two switches on the cover, one that governs the head and one that governs the cut motor...and they are independent of one another. So check both!
