looks very nice! mostly paints? looks like some parts of it are stained too. All looks good.

Thank you. It's a combination of paints and stains and a little bit of burning with a torch.

I like the torch technique, Ill have to try it sometime.

I think something like this looks better with no paint .. I think the carvings stand out better ... Sometimes paints take away from the carving and make it look like its just painted and not a carving ...

I was thinking the same thing last night it looks more like a painting then a carving. Also I think I will carve it deeper next time it's only roughly .080. Thanks for the advice.
