I was wondering if you can use CRC Dry Moly Lubricant.

From what I understand it's not good to use a dry moly. I would advise against it. I changed the lubricant once and it said on the can for "extreme conditions" burnt my flex shaft cover up So I wont believe what the can say's....lol

I apply a little Chain lube with moly and coat it a little bit with some graphite with moly that is used for pinewood derby cars and it works great. It runs and barely gets worm for 10 to 15 hours. I only apply the lubes to the very center of the flexshaft and make sure I don't so much that it would start leaking out the ends.

What I was really wondering was if it could be used on the posts.

If used I would be sure to spray it on a rag to apply to the posts.
