Great job and thank you for your service and for honoring those of us that have served. I'm also a disabled vet (Desert Storm). Wish the government would fix the Veterans Administration but hey, i'm sure we all do. If they would spend more time and money helping vets and processing claims and less going to conferences in Florida and spending $750k on promotional products, maybe they would get somewhere.

A very memorable evening last night for myself & others. I had the honor of meeting and giving a carving to a fellow veteran which he graciously accepted. He is LT Michael Thornton , Ret. Navy SEAL & Medal of Honor recipient. Also had the honor of meeting the parents of Chris Kyle (recently lost infamous Sniper). Truly a "bucket list" moment for me which I will never forget.

Thanks all. Definitely a memorable night for me and many fellow veterans. I'm honored to belong to such a "Band of Brothers". A funny moment I'll also remember was that I was having a conversation with a 2 star Marine General (in uniform) and a lady walked up to us and asked him ... "So what's your rank"? He looked at me (we smiled) and he said to me "stand fast Sergeant".... as he proceeded to explain. As she left after a few minutes I said to him "Welcome to the civilian side sir... Hoorah". :D
