scannig probe not going up

when i scan the probe does not raise up just drags into the wood is this soft ware related ????

I would try reformatting the card. Did you manually set the scanning depth or did you let it use the floor of your scanning sled?

I am having the same problem when I scan. How did you correct your problem. I have reformatted the card and I am able to lay everything out on the sled and set my depth but the probe just hits the side without going up.
Need help

Scanning probe does not go up. Just drags and bends the tip. How did you fix it?

Check the plug and wires. Also go to sensor check to make sure the switches in the probe are working. (0 - 7 - up arrow) The state should change from closed to open as you deflect the probe.
