Drawing a simple polygon in 2.0...

Hey,
Anybody out there know how to draw a simple polygon in 2.0?!!! I am trying for an octogon, but its to no avail. It is one of the easiest shapes to draw in every other program but 2.0! Am I missing something here or did the software designers forget to put in a polygon tool? Im sorry if this has been addressed before, but I searched for an answer and couldn't find one here on the forum.
Any help is appreciated!

Connected line tool and grid lines.

It is a little tricky. Use snap to grid. Move the object as you go to line up the vertices on the grid. That is, make the parts and connect them at snap points.
