A week or two ago I posted a pic of a flame carving with Olympic rings which was part of a base to hold an Olympic Torch.
Here is the finished piece with the torch is in place.

Jeffrey,
That is a VERY nice piece of work! It must have been quite an honor to be entrusted with such a symbol of the Olympics! Excellent job!

May I ask where and when will this hold the Olympic Torch? Great design and craftsmanship on your project.

Thanks for the feedback guys. You're all too kind.
Capt Bruce-This is for a previous Olympic Torch that my customer carried 10-12 years ago so she can display it in her home.

Thanks Jeffrey,
Again beautiful work and I'm sure she will display the torch and the stand with equal pride.
I was going to note that given news reports on the current torch travels it would be wise to add a shelf for a box of matches or a Zippo lighter as it seems to be going out randomly in use. Nice work Sir and hi there in Madison, used to live in Wellington and Salem, OH.
