Because I had problems with the last carve (z-axis failure), I've tried going through as many tests as I could find on the menu system. I have a couple of questions...any help would be greatly appreciated!

The following are the test results:
x 109.73 168.35
y 57.16 256
z 49.52 122.7
I have no way to know what these mean...are they in normal range?

Also, the cut motor test didn't actually turn the motor on...

Last, the bit itself is a little discolored...kind of a blue-grey sheen on the metal. Does this mean its ruined?

Again, any help would be a lot of help! Thanks in advance!

We do not really know what these numbers mean. They were introduced to help LHR trouble shoot but us users have no idea. The cut motor should have run. Something must be wrong there. I would not think coloring on the bit would mean it is ruined. I clean mine off with a small brass wire brush.

After every carve I use some oven cleaner. Removes the pitch and to me just helps keep the bit clean. I feel it works.
