Need help with pattern-Please

Hello, I have been trying to re-create an edge treatment like is found on the Neoclassical Keepsake Box patterns available through Carvewright. I have tried rail-sweep and extrude and found no success. I have tried to find info. on how to use these tools and had no luck there either. I would be very thankful if someone could outline the procedure to create this edge. I have attached an image of the lid with the edge I am trying to create.
