Just in case you have not seen this http://forum.carvewright.com/showthread.php?21181-Pattern-Sharing-Depot-Attachment-List&p=182823#post182823

It will take you to the pattern sharing section. You might find some there... lots to sort through.

Very nice sign. A observation: see the vertical line after the second 4 ? This was (probably) caused by not staying under the rollers. As the edge of the board came out from under the rear roller, the board lifted up slightly.

I assumed that's what happend. I was working with a scrap piece almost to short for the project. I have to build a jig so I can work with shorter pieces and not waist so much wood. Thanks for the info! (Still very new at this)

This trick works when you need to add wood... I put a 4 inch dead area on the right side of designer and use place on end rather than center on board.

Nice Sign !!!!

An approach that I use quite frequently to prevent this is to simply tape a piece of scrap wood the same thickness as the project on the end of the project board. It's handy for one-off's where you don't want to go to the trouble of making a jig...

My mom was not happy that Grandma got a house sign and she didn't! So I made here a cedar sign to match her cedar house. 64638

I use a hot glue gun to attach pieces to the ends, and for a one sided carve, the attached piece does not have to be full width - just wide enough that the little eye sees it.
