what a great idea - is that a glued on lamination or one solid piece? Either way it is a very cool piece of treenware

Thanks for the comments, I will get $20 at the shows just because of the Louisiana theme.
Those are 2 sided carves, I put some a light puff on each side and adjusted the top puff for the pattern.
I made 2 sets of each and they will last for the next couple shows.

Yes I did, I had been playing around with the design for a while. I saw another fellow do something like it ,but he had cut out the
animals with a scroll saw and the 1/16 bit is still too big to try that.
Thanks 55 Pres, next time I'm in Lafayette, I will drop by again.

Those are really cool. Give me some ideas. Are those full size usable paddles or just small decorative ones?

Thanks again for your comments, Hope, the paddle is my design. it is a simple layout that have been paying with. It is 15" long and width is 3". I use a sled
to save wood. board is 3 1/2" by 16". I do a 2 sided carve using puffing on both sides. The top side is more flat to allow for the pattern I added on the paddle.
I am headed to the Shrimp and Petroleum Festival in Morgan City, about 30,000 people in 3 1/2 days, it's a long show.
