I found the chest!!! It is under new patterns, sold bit by bit. No wonder I did not recognize it. So piece by piece. I did not see the corners though. Has anybody done this? Would like help with doing this project. Do these patterns come with directions?

the snake oil sign wasn't there that I saw... I think that is a project, not a pattern though (created with 2.xx) - maybe the bottle itself is available somewhere

yes, i found it. kind of pricey but... So I watched part of the video I found when I went to take another look at the trunk. Did he actually put vinyl thru the carvewright? If I buy the pattern do I still have to do all the stuff he did? I don't have the software for all that. Pattern modeling etc. The pattern should be already to use right? I think the bottle is in that collection. Lawrence I'am willing to go for 2.xx since I see that if I don't get it I have been left out of a lot patterns. I think this calls for a Lawrence video, don't you have the urge to make a trunk? he he

I was so excited. I went as directed and clicked!!! It took me to the $150.00 pattern. So not free, just a link to the pattern depot. How the heck did you make that so quick!!

Joe put a lot of work into designing the patterns and projects. With the software, you can make the patterns. Tell us if you think it is worth $150.

make sure to follow the installation video here
http://www.carvewright.com/project-designer-2-0-tutorials/ (http://s171.photobucket.com/user/ldr_klr/media/P10106041024x768_zpsa253a90e.jpg.html)

(or perhaps it's just part of the new "refined installer" ;) )
seriously though, if you still have issues call LHR in the morning and I'm sure they'll get you up and running. It took me a little playing around to get mine to work but it was operator error on my part... once I followed the directions for installing things it worked...

16 letters and numbers. Use caps and decimal points. Try copy and paste.

I watched tutorial and did copy and paste. Still I have invalid number. Just looking at the trunk I believe it well worth it. I could not do such a thing. My problem with patterns is they don't give dimensions. I bought the hanging fish sign. You open it up and its tiny. You enlarge and the thing is then to big, then I have no clue what size the bottom is suppose to be. It's fustrating at best. If you have no woodworking skills these things are not obvious. I would just like a note Ideal size of top 10x15 and bottom 10x12, something like that. The sign and trunk are the first things I have wanted to make. Other than that tool chest the crazy guy is making, really tools in that chest is insane. To spend 150 for pattern is not a problem but the lack of instruction is.

You've inspired me again Lawrence as a fellow retiree-wannabe, hopefully this month or at least early September. I'm just trying to be patient as the Office of Personnel Management figures out the final credits for my Navy service years and calculates my annuity under Civil Service one last time. The Retire Juice is all I need at this point to be fully able to drink the KoolAid! Wishing you all the best as you wrap up with the Air Force and get ready for your RV Road Trip 2013.
