I'll contact C.S. on this but the forums are sometimes faster.

I updated my Mac from 10.7 to 10.8 and just tried to open the latest free version of designer and I am getting a pop-up stating the Carvewright Designer requires X11 to be installed...

Is this an error? Never needed to have x11 installed for anything but GIMP in the past and they have brought that up to speed and x11 isn't required any longer. This would be a major step backwards for Designer on the MAC if something has changed... hoping it's just some glitch and maybe a reinstall will fix it.

It's required ever since it was released as native macs don't have the proper library support for QT.

OK. Whenever I launched apps in the past that required X11, it was obvious that X11 was launching. That never was the case with designer and I never knew that it was required until now. I will update my MAC with x11 again since it was removed when I updated my system.

Thanks for the speedy reply.
