We just received our CarveWright yesterday and thought we would try something easy, a 45 degree bevel. The machine stalled 2 times with this code/error does anyone have any ideas why? It stopped at the same point both times.

Could you post the mpc? (Use the Go Advanced button and manage attachments)

Pardon my ignorance, what is the mpc?

The "mpc" refers to the file (if you saved it to disc) of what you created in the Designer program to carve. mpc is the file extension of the file on your disc: "myfile.mpc". You can upload the file to the forum and we can open it in our Designer and see what you were trying to carve.

I wanted to see if the 45 degree bevel was arranged so that the bit slowly carved down to the depth or whether the bit had to plunge all at once to the depth. If possible, it is better to arrange for the bit to slowly work its way down into the wood.

We can help much more effectively if we can see the mpc you tried to carve or pictures of what happened.

Or it stalled when the board popped out from under a roller.

Was you doing the bevel as one of the on board functions or as a regular carve that you set up?
