2.001 software

Hello guys,
I am having a problem with the new 2.001 software. When go to OPEN it does not go to the right open screen. The preview screen and I think there is some new items for the text. I have only seen once so I don't remember all that is on there, Can anyone tell how I get to show back on the screen?

After clicking open, you may have to navigate to where you saved your projects.

I can gwt to me projects although it is a pain. What I am concerned with is I do not have access to curving the text abd any thing else. I can not remember what all is in that box. I called the tech support and said the same thing. I went and opened a project while they were on the phone and that seemed to work, But of course after I hung and the next time I tried to get to it (guess what) it did not work. I am sure it is something that I have done but not sure what. If I can not get it resolved I will call again on Monday or tuesday.
