That's a wonderful litho - great subject and looks really clear even though it is a smaller physical size than some

Are you backlighting it with a box/etc?

At any rate, really well done

Lawrence

Look fantastic, but a bit confused. Does litho always look so much better than wood carvings, even painted wood carvings, or is it because you enhanced the photo greatly in PE?

Great job on the litho, George. I am sure it will be well received. I haven't had time to carve many, but this reminds me that I need to make time. ...

Thanks for the reply's everyone. Your encouragements are appreciated.

Lawrence, I didn't back light this one although I have done some. The lady just wanted this one for in front of a lamp or place on a window ledge.

peep, I scanned the photo and the only enhancement was in Photoshop where I cleaned the photo up a little by removing some specks and smears, converted it to gray scale and enhanced the contrast just a tad. No enhancement in PE was necessary. Litho's are way better than wood carvings, IMHO. They look like a 3D photo, when placed in front of a light, where as wood carvings can never have near as much definition. It's like comparing apples to oranges. The main problem with litho's is the scarcity of 1/4" Corian and the cost if/when you find some.
