This is a 200 gallon aquarium stand in a Steampunk or Jules Verne style.
It was basically like most of my projects, sketch start building, change design and complete.
It conssts of two towers that are 19 x 19 x 36 and a space between them that is 24 inches
The top is 6 feet of 3/4 ply mounted on a 2x6 frame with stringers.

The "rivets" are wood buttons. around 300 of them.
End panels are octopus graphics I found online and cut them 1/8 inch deep.
I carved everything on " best" quality not optimum. total carve time is about 15 hours. I still have to make the canopy and there are tw0 carved panels that will mount in the portholes.

There will also be an "airlock" door panel to cover up the space between the towers. It was a bit of a rush job. I have 7 days to make it. It was a surprise for a friend who is out of town.

I was going to drill the holes for the rivets with CW but I was spending too long trying to set it up. I used pegboard and a 1/2 bit in the end.

Thanks for looking

Great!
Port holes would be good with a lithopane of a fish .

Carl,

I have a 125 gal. aquarium that I will be doing something very similar with! So cool to see what you've done and might "light a fire" under me to get going on my own project!

Say, I see you carved my Seahorse Corbel project that I created for Vectric. You must be an Aspire owner also! What other CNC do you own besides your CarveWright?

Keep us posted on your progress and thank you for posting the photos!

Terrific project. Sure like all the elements you've incorporated. I know of at least one person that would like a similar stand. Great job.

I like it! Where'd you get the seahorse bracket? Isn't that a POM?

My Seahorse Corbel is a project I created exclusively for Vectric Aspire owners' use.
http://www.vectric.com/cool-stuff/projects/2012/seahorse-corbels.html
It cannot be run as-is by a CarveWright machine.

The project is in Aspire's native .crv3d format. Terms of use requires you own Aspire to use the file (as well as generate toolpaths for a "brand-x" CNC machine).

Terms of Use: This Project and artwork is provided on the
understanding that it will only be used with Vectric software programs. You may
use the designs to carve parts for sale but the Files and/or Vectors, Components
or Toolpaths within them (or any derivatives) may not be converted to other
formats, sold to, or shared with anyone else. This project is Copyright 2013 -
