Better on tapatalk than it was.

I can't test tapatalk, so I'm relying on others to do so. I added the 'push' feature, so you (conceivably) should have certain messages sent directly to your device, and your device should notify you.

Turned on push notifications and just got my first one. Seems to be working.

Can you turn on the thumbs up feature on tapatalk?

I don't believe the feature is supported with vbulletin 4.

Thumbs up/down would be a great feature if VBulletin has it..

Thanks for the hard work!

Not sure if this will work or is even compatible. Might be good to look at..

I dont know if my problem is with the forum or with tapatalk but I'm not seeing all my unread posts.

If I go to LATEST > UNREAD on tapatalk, it works for me. There was a recent upgrade made to Tapatalk and available on my iPhone recently. We also did a recent upgrade here to vBulletin.

I don't see timeline on tapatalk. Unread. Participated. All.
Usually leave it on all.

The last day or so of logging in I have noticed I'm getting logged out if I walk away for a period of time.. not long, maybe 10-20 minutes.. Kind of annoying because twice I got up while typing a post and when I got back I was logged out and ended up having to retype everything. Is this something new to combat spammers?

Is my browser clipping the right side of the page or did someone remove the thumbs down button? Did i miss the memo? Is it all positive now?

Probably get in trouble for saying it but forum is becoming very big brother lately.

Not in trouble, Icarver, but this gives me the opportunity to share some information:

There are a couple of reasons why I decided it was not a valuable tool:

1. If I had given you a thumbs down just now for that remark, you would, first of all, not know who it was from OR why I gave you a thumbs down. I wouldn't have to face you about my reasons why, therefore it is "easy" for me to show a negative response.
2. In our era of Facebook and other social media, we are becoming way too comfortable with fly-by negative comments, making it easier and more frequent; dividing us.
3. I think this leads to a thought that we can just freely at any point object without regard to showing any respect or even have to face those we disagree with.
4. The goals or purpose of this forum is to promote our product, to assist customers in how to use their system, and to cheer each other on in our accomplishments. The thumbs-down feature did NOTHING to help us reach our goals.
5. My mother (and probably your mothers) taught me, "if you can't say nothing nice; don't say nothing at all."
6. If you have an objection to someone or something, you are more than welcome to say nothing, respectfully disagree, send that person a PM or log off.

Many of you are aware, we have created a private Senior Forum, where we can freely share ideas, thoughts and concerns with some of our customers that have been long time users and contributors to this forum. These members have already received the title of Senior Member by having over 1000+ posts (some over 5,000). It is a title and milestone that has been in place on this forum for a long time. Practically all of you know and already respect these individuals, as many of them have been your mentors. You know it is a title they have rightly earned. I know many of you may feel that there are other criteria that we should have considered, but this was the cleanest way to do it. It gives you something to look forward to and will, hopefully, encourage participation in the forum.

Thanks for listening,

Connie,

I doubt you are Bigger (Off limit subject I know) or Older (another off limit subject) than me.. Could this be a poor attempt at a joke and attempt to +1 my posts? LOL

Thank you for the call today!

You told me how old you are and I am not very far behind you, and the longer I sit behind this desk, the bigger I get. LOL.

He said it was becoming "big brother" around here, so yes, since I was the one that nixed thumbs-down, I was calling myself "big sister". I guess it was a poor attempt at a joke.

I enjoyed talking to you, too and GLAD to see you back! Keep posting....you'll be at 1000 before you know it!

I reckon we should all be changing our passwords to the longest and most difficult to type and remember, considering the breach that exists in vBulletin:
