here I go again I'm thinking again,..lol... is there a way, lets say I want to just make the knob to the k- cup holder and I want to make 20 at a time without having to do the first one on center then get the next one spaced mirror and so on. I thought I seen a tutorial on that matter involving a roof. can someone point me in the right direction....

I was wondering what that button did. I have another ? the square box that pops up when your doing the smart spline tool what does that do, I do the escape to get rid of it.. I think it was put there to agitate me.

If you mean the a box with a number in it, it means you clicked on a length, angle, or attachment number as you were drawing and now it wants you to edit the number. Curse softly and press escape. Then toggle off the labels so it will not keep happening.

I was playing with the offset tool how do You know if your right on the backside to set the route region?

I think the snap grid is the best way to line up front to back.

that is what I thought but then what is the best way to line them up. I did the cut paste on the front of the knob put that pattern the same on the backside to the grid found center set it, then deleted the front side of the knob leaving the rout out.

I do not know what you are saying. The grid is the same on the back as the front (if it is a centered grid) and gives the reference to know when the front and back are lined up. The front and back are lined up if they are snapped to the same part of the grid.

what I guess I'm doing is over thinking the front side of the knob is bigger and the rout out is smaller so just find the center of the front side and then put it on center on the backside for the rout out
