short time any ideas

My sisters 50th anniversary party is the 7Th of july , and im looking for some ideas , Maxine and Mike , im at a loss , drawing a blank for something special they got married in a park by a wishing well ,I was 6 so I am winging it I have a piece of 6 ply pine 24x12, any ideas would be great .This was the only photo I had , from 1963

I redid the pic in paint and eliminated the line on the side , now if I have the depth right is the question , I put the names in the photo instead of below

You might try to invert the picture.

ok should I change the depth , id like to make them stand out

well I inverted and ran it , letters chipped and faces were distorted , so I am against the wall any help would be great

Low res image will be hard to do anything with it. Might try reimporting and reducing depth on import.

Reduce height of font and add draft to prevent chip out.

Have you thought about a Lithopane?? It would show show up nicely from farther away for the viewer/s. It adds the need to
make a box and lighting but really shows off the picture vs a wood carving. Lots of info on the forum about them.
