My latest project. It's simple but, most of the girls in the family wanted one as soon as they saw it. Coming soon to the Pattern Depot

Roger,

No. The butterfly is part of the pattern along with the butterfly on the end of the handle. I guess I could make one without the butterflies but it wouldn't be as unique.

Instructions in the PDF that comes with it. I imagine there are all kinds of sources, hobby shops, craft stores, etc....

Mirror:
Included in this document is a template for the
mirror. Print it out and use it to cut the mirror
or give it to the glazier that will cut the mirror
for you. For added effect I added a ½" bevel to
the perimeter of the 3/16" thick mirror. If you
decide against the bevel, a 1/8" thick mirror
works great. Secure it in the frame with 4 or 5
small spots of clear 100% silicone caulking.

Any glass and mirror shop will cut the mirror for you. Tucson Glass and Mirror here in Tucson did my 1/8" thick mirror for $15.00

EDIT: BTW, the beveled mirror was $60.00. After comparing both I think the 1/8" thick mirror with no bevel looks better. Lighter too.

I haven't looked in a long time , but used to be you could get acrylic mirror and cut it up with a scrollsaw.

Great project, Steve. You did a super job. I guess I know what one of my next purchases will be. Thanks for putting it in the depot.
