I just ran a batch of parts all through cut from 1/2" Komatex PVC sign board. The photos show the effectiveness of the Erwin Products DUST DEVIL Version C, rev 1 after 2 1/2 hours cutting PVC. Also, I just emptied the trash can before starting and this also shows how well the seperarator from Grizzly works. If you have ever cut PVC you know how it gets everywhere and clings to everything.
After the 2 1/2 hours only about a level teaspoon was left in the machine, mostly clinging to the outside of the Dust Devil extension and a thin film around the spindle. None found above around the motors or below on the traction belts.
The 1st two photos show the dust collected and captured in the trash can and the Grizzly dust collector with separator.
The 3rd photo shows the pile of dust retrieved from the trash can, about 6 teaspoons collected from the project and sled and about 1 level teaspoon which was brushed from inside the machine and that was clinging to the outside of the
Dust Devil.
The remaining photos show the inside of the machine and dust remaining on parts and sled after cutting the parts.
