Recently I had a inner bearing on my y gear box explode. When I looked at what I had in stock I have two different kinds of bearings. One will not slip back on the shaft but one will. I think I have bought bearings from each and now I dont want to buy the brand that failed. If that makes sense. Seems everyone goes with the Avid but just wanted to see. The Avid is cheaper and I am a buy what you get kind of guy. Thanks for any input.

Some where here there is a link to a place where I bought a bunch of them for - I think - 10 for $5.

Thats what I'm worried about. I wonder if I bought cheap ones and got what I paid for. The ones that did fit were the vxb ones. That much I have figured out so I will order another pack of those and see where I go from there. Thanks for the help.

I've heard nothing bad about the avid ones. They were the ones that were in the machine at the time. But I've never seen one eat itself either.
