box around a pic

Does anyone know how to get rid of the recessed box
that is usually around a pic?? Ive tried everything I thought
but still there.

You need to remove the background. Make it transparent in a .png editor, or delete it in the pattern editor, or post it and one of us will do it for you.

So you have to bring it to like the pattern editor and manually erase it??

Sometimes you can get rid of the background by lowering either when you import it or in the pattern editor. In the pattern editor, you can also select the background with the magic wand and the delete it.

You can remove it in the pattern editor by either using the eraser tool or for a faster way use the magic wand tool to select the background area and delete/cut it. You might have to play with the tool tolerance setting to get the right area.

You can also remove the background area in the import box when you are bringing it into designer. Use the lower tool in the import box.
