View Full Version : How do you do this?
62104 I found this pattern here on the forum and would like to make something similar to it. Can anyone tell me how to make the scalloped edges.
Thanks

They probably imported an image to get the outline shape.
This is what I got from just your picture. I imported it into the pattern editor and removed some of the outline area. You will notice it has the construction lines from designer..
Thanks for your response but I already have that design as a PNT. I am trying to figure out how to make just the scalloped edges like that so I can use it on a triangle or circle or whatever shape I have.

One thing you could do is draw a black shape in a drawing program, blur the edges a bit and then use the smudge tool to selectively smudge in the edges.
OK Thanks, I'll give that a try

Try a font called Burnstown Dam. The letter "I" is a straight board with the jaged edges. All the letters are made with what looks like 1x4's . Use Centerline and rotate the board.

When I do that I draw the image in PhotoShop, to give the edges a 3d look I use a ShaderMap Pro program ( it cost about $30.00). I then make the PTN file in the CW Pattern Editor.
