Hello All,

Have any one ever gotten this error message?

Z Axis Stall
Err E06-0303

I did a while back. I went in and cleaned out rollers (both sides) with air compressor and reset the head pressure and it worked good after that.

I think that the one when the carving bit is choked up to far in the chuck.. try to lower the carving bit in the chuck...

It carved fine it was on the cut out is when I got the error message.

Check to see if you have a hole in the touch plate @ the brass roller..

Since it was carving when it happened I vote for a Dirty Encoder Disk... And since you are a 2007 member, do you have the newer 14 pin FSC Cable or the older 18 pin FSC cable. This was a common error for a failure of the old 18 pin cable.

It carved fine it was on the cut out is when I got the error message.

Could it be a very dull cutting bit? Z stall trying to plunge down to the cutting depth.
