On double sided carves, how do you know which way to flip the carve? Is there a way to specify?

If you have Designer Open and do a Flip Board to the Back you will see that the Board actually ROLLS.... So think of it like a LOG and ROLL it with the Width being rolled and the Length NOT.

Thanks for the quick reply. I seem to recall someone saying that in certain instances the board gets flipped end for end though.

And another trick to line up something on the back... Use a few Drill Holes from the front to mark key points. Flip the board and line up the back and back to the front and delete the drill holes. If you do a 2 sided text sign you can copy the front and past on the back but it will be up side down.... Use the Text Flip that has the arrow up.

If you want to make an image that needs to be top to bottom, then you have to flip the board like it is flipped when you flip in Designer software, and then place the pattern on the back, upside - down.

If you place the image on the back of the board right side up, then you have to flip the board lengthwise when prompted by the lcd. But in that case everything would have to be centered and the exact same size pattern wise.

But pattern size is determined by the actual size. Which may be smaller because you have dropped out the bottom durring import.
