I've been wondering how cut through operations keep from hitting the x-axis belts?

Obviously on double sided carves, you can have it cut halfway through and have tabs, and in sled operations the sled is a sacrificial piece..

But what if the board is cut through when it's directly on the X-axis belt?

Underdog,

There are actually two belts with a gap between the two. The carving bit stays in the gap!

Oh. That's so simple. I'd never really thought about why there were two belts. Thanks!
