Attached is a test I am trying to do to keep the lettering a set height.
I set the lettering on the bottom with zero arc degrees, the height is 2"
from the top of the "C" to bottom of the "g". When I change to a -60
degree arc I am not sure if the letters are still 2" or does the change height
with the arc ?
Any help or suggestion would be great.

I'm not sure how anyone else does it, but I have on a few occasions drawn two ovals to give me a reference, and to keep the letters at a decent angle, I have also had to resort to placing them individually.

Corel Draw allows you to follow an ellipse (or any vector for that matter) rather than just arc the text.

When I really care about it (and I obviously don't sometimes because I've got an oval carving right now where I didn't do this.... oops!) I export this from corel draw as a DXF and then import it into Designer

SWEET !!!!

To check letter height I have typed a second letter only and supper imposed it over the text letter just to make the single letter the correct size. Then moved it off. Then added the Curve then used the letter to confirm the size.
