I have a pattern that is like a paddle and I am trying to change the width of the paddle part and change the width of the handl3e part. I am blind and my son and I are working on this pattern and we thought we had the changes made but when we did a test carve the changes were not there. Can anyone give us a step by step on how to make these changes? 'Thanks Tom

If you want to send the pattern to me I'll be glad to try to help. Or send me a private message that explains more the problem.

Hey guys, is there someone out there that can help Tom. I've tried but it concerns cut paths, which I know very little about. Thank you.

Tom has a pattern that was traced from an image. But since the pattern is one single pattern, the width of parts (handle, paddle) can't be adjusted independent of each other. So I reproduced each part that needs to be adjusted. The handle needs to be 18.5" X 1.75", the paddle part needs to be 16.5"x 3.5". I can get the pattern there, but when I apply the cut path, I can't maintain the width I drew. Since I don't do many cuts (everything I carve is on one standard board usually) I have no idea if this is the norm, or what there is about cut paths I don't know. And I have watched AskBud's videos but didn't see anything that addressed this specifically.

Any help would be most appreciate. And thank you.
