DINGBATS without Font editing software...

I was just perusing the web and stumbled on an interesting article about using Inkscape ( FREE vector drawing app ) and a FREE online service to convert vector art to a dingbat. I have only bookmarked this because I don't have time to look at it yet but this sounds like it may save a few steps and also save the expense of purchasing font editing software to create a dingbat for Vcarves.

I can't believe I have been using Inkscape and never realized this was built into the application all this time ! DOH! I thinks this is going to make the process of getting my machine to vCarve artwork much easier.

Still new and learning! What are dingbats?

Dingbats are just a type of font. Small pictures. Google "dingbat"
