I am working on a retirement plaque for a friend and my machine is not cooperating! I am 18% into a carve, and the machine started to stop, kind of like a car running out of gas, its slowed for a second, sped up, slowed, then stopped. I lifted the cover to stop the carve, put the cover back down and it began carving again, but it doesnt seem like the traction belts are rolling, and then it sputters out again. I just replaced the cut motor brushes last night, and then did a 2 hour carve that went flawlessly. I am desperate!

I think things are going again, atleast they have been for 10 minutes or so! I think the issue may be with the safety switch on the cover. I installed a DC not too long ago, and think maybe i need to trim the cover down a bit where it sits on the top of the DC. I was holding the cover down and it was working just fine, so I taped it down and i havent had another problem....yet!

You can build up the tabs for the switches also.
