I'm doing maintenance on my machine and I'm wanting to do a resitance test on the cut motor, I have an oms meter but its been so long since I used one forgot how to work it, If I'm not mistaken you put the dial on 2k and put the black to ground and the white to red... the meter when touching the white and black on the cut motor ...I'm thinking it should be 0 to show no resistance... please correct me if wrong

My cut motor, on the 200 ohm scale measured ~3 ohms resistance +/- a couple of tenths while turning the armature.
