Alright guys, third project third bleepin' issue. This time the project finished the carving part and asked to put in the 1/8" cutting bit. so I exchanged the bit and hit enter. It started with the basic scanning like before it starts a project but then it stopped and gave me a
"fatal error ( 2)!"
and asked me to reboot the machine. When I rebooted it restarted just like I had first turned it on.
Two questions (well, not really but for sake of simplicity):
1. what was this error and why did it happen?
2. how do i get my maching to start where it stopped without ruining the piece?

Please help me feel like I shouldn't take this back tomorrow!
Shari

First, in an effort to sound like a broken record...did you search the forums? There have been a few posts discussing this problem one of which I started (hint, search all post with my user name or for fatal error).

But on to your problem, I had this happen when tryign to use the cut out tool when I had the board mounted to a jig. The extra height throws it off. See the above search results for more information.
