I am a new guy and therefore you can assume that I know very little about the CarveWright system - I am attempting to convert an *.mpg to a *.mpc that can be recognized by CarveWright as a valid pattern - I can load the *.mpg into the pattern editor but cannot go further, so I cannot upload to the flashcard where the pattern can be carved - It appears that you have accomplished this so I would appreciate an assist on this matter -

Thanks from exgenius

An .mpg file is an audio file, has nothing to do with the CW. Do you mean a PNG file? If you have loaded the file into the pattern editor you need to save it as a pattern file to your library. Then you create a new project in Designer, open the library, place you pattern, etc.

Take a look at the tutorials the CW has provided: http://www.carvewright.com/cms/tutorials, that should help get you started.

Alexa,

The projects look great. Did you buy some of the patterns that you used?
