View Full Version : Designer and Windows 8

So I'm going to need to get a new computer...and they're all Windows 8 machines. To make sure my designer software continues to work, are there any compatibility traps to look out for?

Make sure you install and register using RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.

I'm running it in Windows 8 and have had no issues at all with it.

I've only played with it in a Sony store, but its seems pretty easy.

Do you know if there is any way to run everything in Administrator mode? I had that problem with Win 7...you can right-click and run in Admin mode, but you have to remember to do that.

I don't know if there is a system setting to do that or not. I think if your logged in as the administrator it will run it in that mode anyway.

Right click on designer icon and go to properties > advanced properties > always run as administrator.
