One of my project in the works. 4 foot tall Chief Master Sergeant Rank Plaque.
For the Chiefs Council at Dyess AFB.

Need to still make a stand for it as well so that is can be displayed on a table at special events. Carved in oak.
It is setting on a 36 inch square table.

Once it is stained and finished I will post more pictures.

Wow, Chief!!! That is one large plaque. Nicely done and look forward to seeing it finished. It will certainly get its deserved attention when displayed....

Total width is 28 inches wide - 2 14.5 inch wide boards. I glued up 2 pieces of oak to make one 14.5 inches wide board. After carving the 2 halves, I glued the 2 pieces together.

So here's the next set progress pictures. Just need to seal it with lacquer and it will be done.

Base is 32 inches by 11.25. Plaque is 46 x 28. I have it atop a 36 inch square table. Plaque can be removed from the base to hall on the wall if desired.

The clients willing be displaying it on a table top during their Chief Induction ceremony they will be having.
